How to report an error

If you believe an article contains a factual error, identify the specific claim and, if possible, provide an authoritative source that contradicts or corrects it. Reports are reviewed against the evidence before any change is made.

What happens next

A confirmed error is corrected at the claim level: the claim is rewritten to match the evidence, the citation is updated, or — if no reliable source supports it — the claim is removed. The article’s updated date changes.
