Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs (1955–2011) co-founded Apple Computer with Steve Wozniak in 1976 and led the Macintosh, iPod, iPhone and iPad. Driven out in 1985, he founded NeXT and bought Pixar from Lucasfilm before returning to Apple in 1996–97 and reshaping the music, phone and tablet industries. He resigned as CEO in August 2011 and died of pancreatic cancer on 5 October 2011, aged 56.
